To restore the contents of a cluster quorum disk for all nodes in a cluster

  2. The Backup or Restore Wizard starts by default, unless it is disabled.

  3. Click Advanced Mode on the Backup or Restore Wizard.
  4. Click the Restore and Manage Media tab, and then in Click to select the check box for any drive, folder, or file that you want to restore, click the box next to System State.
  5. Click Start Restore.
  6. On the Confirm Restore dialog box, click Advanced.
  7. Select Restore the Cluster Registry to the quorum disk and all other nodes, then click OK
  8. .
  9. This action will stop the Cluster service on the local node and restore the cluster configuration (the cluster registry file ClusDB located in the systemroot\cluster subdirectory) for that node.

  10. Reboot the node when prompted.

    This will restart the Cluster service on the local node and stop the Cluster service on all other nodes in the cluster. Backup will then copy the restored quorum data from the restarted node to the cluster quorum disk and all other nodes in the cluster.

  11. Start the Cluster service on the other nodes in the cluster.

  12. Verify that the Cluster service restarted on all nodes.
